Oh and I forgot to say too that Lisa I tell everyone at work, home and socially about your quit video. It impacted on me so much, that I tell anyone who will listen that lady's story. I never miss any details if I can help it and I know for some (especially smokers) its pretty harrowing to listen to- but I dont care. If it makes one smoker stop and think then it can't be all bad can it?
And its you I have to thank for that- so hang on in there.

Lisa, I panicked when I read this because I didnt want you to think I hadnt replied straight away, I sometimes think with me living across that big ol fish pond known as the Atlantic Ocean, the time difference means that when some of you guys post I am in the land of Nod- so please never think its cos I dont care.

OK that said, Lisa, its understandable your intial thought first being a smoking thought- I reckon its what 99.9% of us would do in a similar circumstance- no one knows what is round the corner and what could break our resolve at a  moments notice- BUT you didnt do it, you came on here and did what we tell people all the time, you shared, and it worked, its strength in numbers so they say every one is keen to support you at this time Lisa!

So, I have everything crossed that your tests will be OK, and please let us know how you are feeling today wont you
big hugs (((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))) Karren xx

Lisa, I always look forward to reading your postings, and your flashing green "good luck" always makes me smile.  I know that you are "flashing at me" to keep my quit going.  I know about waiting after tests.  I was at the oncologist's yesterday, got my test results back today.  No new tumors, and the blood clot has dissolved.  In August, my doctor told me that I would have to be on Coumadin the rest of my life if I didn't stop smoking.  Smoking can cause blood clots.  Two days later I went cold turkey, and tomorrow I will be 8 weeks smoke free.  Your 198 smoke free days is a sign that you are a quitter.  No wait, I mean winner!  :)  Keeping you in my thoughts while you wait for your results.....

Lisa,
I know you are stressed, and you know that smoking won't help or solve anything.  Try to lay low the next few days and know this is all for the sake of your health.  You did the right thing by having those tests done.
Hang in there and keep posting!

Lisa, you have been given wonderful advice and best advice has come from you.  Life is going to happen regardless whether you smoke or not.  Believe smoking would only add to your stress not diminish it. (I know )

Go back and read some of your old post.  Look for the ones where you were supporting other and let you wisdom support you now.  Hold on and well will walk though this together - You and your SSC family.

Keep the Quit
Sparky
