PM is exercising walking

PM,

Like Karren mentioned , just give it time.  Plan healthy well-balanced meals, drink lots of fluids, eat low-fat snacks like fruits and veggies, and keep active.

You're on the right track with the walking.  Maybe you can start an exercise routine and set a goal for example: walk 10 minutes everyday, then step it up to 20 minutes and so on.  Add some fun factor to your physical activity by joining a fitness or dance class or whatever suits your current lifestyle.  The possibilities are endless.  Members, do you have any other suggestions for PM?

PM both my husband and myslef have got bigger tums since quitting- the weight hasn't gone anywhere else -just around the middle- we have joined a gym and tried healthier eating but the tums remain- someone said about 12 months for the metabolism to get back to normal so I guess we'll have to wait a while...

Hi dont know to much about exercising but I started to walk when I get the bad thoughts, and I dont know why it works but the cravings go away. Now quit buddies how do I get rid of  this big beer belly?? Dont get me wrong I am not a drinking person but since I started to stop smoking in May of this year I got this buldge hanging over my belt and it looks bad. Would walking work..
