Forleah,

Welcome to our support community and congratulations on day 2 smoke free! Set your quit meter so we can follow your quit.

We suggest you take some time to go through the site and get started on the quit program. There is a lot of information to help you understand your smoking patterns and habits. There are also many tools that can help you in your quit. Take some time to read through all of the old posts and write more about yourself. The members are full of knowledge, support and great advice. You can beat this addiction and live some free.

Hi back at you forleah

you are right.  for some putting down the smokes is the hardest thing they will do.  for others it is a bit rough for a while and then the sailing is smooth.

If you haven't yet, read through the program here and work the toolbox.  there is a lot to learn about this addiction and arming yourself with all the knowledge you can about cessation will help you through this.  If you are comfortable posting, please let us know a bit about you and if the hard times hit you come here and ask for help.  There will always be someone to help you through the rough spots.

Welcome.

Moss

Hi,

I am doing this for myself and my daughter... and no one else.  This is one of the hardest things that I had to do.
I am convinced that cigarettes are just as addictive as Heroine and all of those other drugs that are out there.  I am on my second day being smoke free.
