hi Ruby, we should put an automatic door for our dog and let him go by himself. That would be nice. When we dont sleep we tend to be more nervous and this accumulates in our systems and thats when we get these attacks. Our minds are tired, those glands start to overwork and then pouf here it comes again. We have to try to sleep better and get everything out of our minds before going to bed and concentrating on a peaceful sleep. Not easy. I know. But were not alone we have other people like us. ;)

Hi gina, so were night walkers. Not fun eh. We cannot seem to relax and get a good nights sleep. I cannot sleep in my bed. When I wake up like this I usually nap on the sofa for the rest of the night.

I get the same problem. I rarely sleep without waking up at least 2 or 3 times during the night. I also have a dog which wakes me up to go outside around 1am or 2am. After that it can take me up to 1 hour to fall back asleep maybe 2. I wish I could fall asleep and sleep through the morning.

I also find that if I don't get enough sleep, I have an anxiety attack. Like last night I didn't get to bed till 4 oclock in the morning and two hours later I woke up because my dog woke me, My dog is an inside dog so I have to take her out to go to the toilet, and when I did that I started to feel sick(anxiety) so the next minute I had an anxiety attack. I felt like ****.... Ruby....

I still have these attacks once in a while. I feel it more when I do not get enough sleep. I am very tired lately. Everything builds up and I tend to overeact and boom thats when it starts. I feel shaky, I sweat, i feel warm, cold, and I have trouble concentrating on simple things and I forget stuff.

Glad to hear you handled it so well. Do you consider yourself cured? or did this create a set back but your not worried about it? Are you still agoraphobic? Sorry about all the questions I am sure you were just expressing what you went through. Tita

Its not easy to go through panic attacks, I had a big one this morning at work. I had not had one for over 15 years. But with everything mounting up (with my parents death) and (my son having behavior problem) it just creeped right back in my life again. I had these panick attacks in the past and was diagnosed with agaraphobia. Sometimes i have little attacks in the bus (not strong ones). I tell you when you get these attacks you feel like this is it. Its your last moment on earth. A co-worker saw me and helped me conquer my anxiety and my fears. Its just to say there are still good people in this world who understand what we go through. :)
