Hi Debbie, Sounds like you are really going through a difficult time right now. I know you said you are not seeing your doctor til April 7th, but if there is any way to move this appointment up, please consider getting help sooner. Maybe they could at least talk to you on the phone to give you some guidance or even suggest a counsellor or therapist to help you deal with how you are feeling right now. Hi Debbie, Gina is right stress can cause your period to be late, also how long have you been on your medication for, if you have only been on it a short time, that might explain why you don't feel to good, because it does take about 6 to 8 weeks to start working, but if you have been on the medication longer it sounds like it's not working. But I'm no Doctor, the best thing to do is go see another Doctor epsecially when your feeling like you are. Ruby.........

Hello Gina, Slinky and Sue, I am sorry I did not write earlier, I am having a very bad day. My husband is probably going to take my son to his Mom's and stay and I hope he does, I am in a very bad way, I have been crying all day, my ear is whoosing so bad I cannot sleep and my period refuses to come so I am so worried I am pregnant or there is something else wrong, I just so dread waking up tommarow and know I am going to feel dreadful. The Zoloft has not helped and now along with the panic and anxiety I have a deep dark depression. I am sorry I do not have better news. I just want to sleep, I am going to take a Klonopin and lay down and just sleep, that is about the only time I feel any relief, I cannot get into the Doctors till April 7th and do not want to push it, last time the Doctor wrote me a letter saying he could not treat me anymore and I do not want that do happen again. I feel like I am dying and there is something terribly wrong with me, I cannot seem to pull it together this time. Please pray for me so I will at least be able to function again, I do not want to lose what little I have. I am sorry if I depressed anyone, you guys are all wonderful and I appreciate your help. Thanks, Deb.

Hi, I just wanted to say that all these symptoms you have mentioned may actually just be a resuly of your anxiety. I wonder if your trying to find something else as the cause because like me, you can't believe that anxiety could cause your body to feel so awful. I suffer from a feeling of dizziness a lot also, but everything I have read suggests that dizziness is not really a sign of anything, have you had your ears checked out? An inner ear infection can cause alsorts of trouble. Hope you feel better soon, I hope everyone does.

Thanks Gina your words helped. I think we both are in the same boat, health concerns, a small child, a husband who does not understand ect.... I just will keep hoping and praying things will get better! We both deserve happiness and I will pray we get it. Thanks again, Debbi.

Hi Sue, Gina and everyone. Thanks for your replies. My nurse-practioner told me to buy a over the counter urine test "Menocheck" it came up negative, which is not good, that would of explained all the symptoms I have been having, I guess I am not in perimenopause after all, so all these headaches dizziness cramping and cycle changes are something else. All night and day I have been thinking its cervical cancer or a brain tumor{my Mother had one and died young} My panic and anxiety are raging, I am trying to tell myself its PMS and eyestrain from the computer and reading but then all the thoughts creep back, I actually think I am dying of a terrible illness, and the whoosing in my ear is worse, I just feel so bad I can barely make it out of bed, sometimes I feel this is NO way to live and I so want to be healthy but it is not possible, my husband cannot believe someone can feel so sick and bad and still be alive, I wonder that myself, I was so hoping the urine test would come up positive for the perimenopause hormone but it did not, I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired! I even thought I might be pregnant which would be bad at my age! How do others get through these bad times? I have tried praying and thinking positive but to no avail, I am even avoiding my son and husband because I look and feel so bad, I just want to crawl into bed and sleep, I still manage to walk 30 minutes a night, that helps a little. Thanks for listening. Deb.
