hello, welcome to SSC, you have to hang on tight while on that rollercoaster and never give in, each time you stay strong and dont smoke it makes  you stronger for the next time, your right slips wont help you get the quit done, someway you have to power through without slipping thats when the quit gets stronger, whatever it takes do not give in , you can do this, make sure you use this site for support it is the greatest :)   Good luck  Tresa

Hi, my name is katielynn. I quit march 1st of this year, sinse then I have been on a roller coaster of slips...back to the patch..slip...lozenges...slip...back to the patchs...July 17th..I jumped off the ride and decided to stop acting like a baby, and kick this addiction. I am on the patch 14 mg..and want to get my butt back off nicotine. I am not smoking anymore. just one starts the whole ride over again. and each one makes starting over that much more difficult. I am tired of thinking about it, and not doing it.  The constant arguement in my head. For now tho I am in control...One day at a time.
