Hi - Just completed my first 7 days!

15 years ago 0 1209 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Congrats on 7 days     I hadx tried a bunch of products before.. Chantix worked for me.  I did have some side effects, but I took it for 60 days.

What keeps me quit.. is remembering the first few weeks.  I am Not stong.. I do NOT want to repeat those weeks again..LOL

And I read "Allen Carr's Easy Way To Quit Smoking"    it is a FREE download on the internet... a lot it made sense.

Now it is EASIER to NOT smoke...LOL   not going to buy them.. shell out the $$$ for a  carton or pack .. and save on gas money too.... don't have to look for a Place to smoke.  or jump around waving my arms (Ohh Maybe that was considered aerobics)   trying to get rid of the smoke smell.   Spaying your clothes, spraying breath freshner... ad trying to fool everyone ...  then find a place to put the butts.. no cleaning the car ash tray or having it stink to high heaven ..especially on a hot day after being closed up.....

Don't forget to REWARD yourself..     I put the money I would have spent on smokes.. and I bought a lap top.....

Keep up the good work...   I smoked a pack a day over 40 years.     If I can Quit... You can too.

Bonnie

Congratulations on your first week smoke free!!
I had one bad day in the second week, after that no cravings, just wantings. BIG difference between a physical craving and a just plain wanting. The wantings eventually come fewer and fewer. Experienced one bad one this month and that's it. So...know that it WILL get better and easier, cause if it didn't I wouldn't still be smoke free. Stay Strong!

Thank you Josie.  I'm using the tools but stayed quiet because I have tried and tried and tried without success.  I'm a happy camper!
