i remember when i first joined here , i was nervous , a little timid to say how i was feeling at times.
i would look and see posters here who had quit smoking for a week , 4 weeks , 2 months , some even a year , or longer !
i would think ''i'll never achieve that , i'm gonna try , but i know i'll snap''.

but the quit started , and yes it was hard at times , but i got a few days , a week , 10 days , 2 weeks , heck a whole month under my belt.and it was achieved because of the help i recieved here.

now here comes the cool part , after a couple of weeks or a month or two , you start to see a lot of great folks that have joined after you did. and you know they are going through some of the pain we all did. so we share some tips , pat 'em on the back and pray for their success.
and then the greatest thing in the world happens , you start to see the people that you helped , begin to help the quitters that are now new quitters to them.
in other words , your students are turning into teachers , and nurturers. you didn't give them a fish , you helped them learn how to fish , and now they are making new fishemen and women themselfs .
i have said it before but i'll say it again , there are times when i wished i had never smoked , but then i would not have ever experienced the beauty of quitting with you guys.
god bless you all.
