astrofan, Love that perspective. Quitting is not an easy thing to do, and it gives you a great sense of accomplishment! Stop and think, "wow, I really did it. I don't smoke!!" For years I've been wanting to say that, -- and MEAN it. Hey Mike!!! I bet that you didn't have the same sentiments that first Friday poker game!!! LOL You sure have a warped sense of humor!! Pretty much the same as mine... guess that's why I like you so much!! We sure have come a long ways since the beginning of our quits and you really ARE becoming a great role model for your grand kids, as well as your own!!! Have a great weekend!!! i wish i would have quit earlier too but i don't look in the rear view mirror. the good news is and it's real good , i have 4 little grandkids , ages 4,4,2,2, & a 5th one due in july , and they will never see "pop" smoke. i'm sure not perfect but i will strive to be a good role model for those babies. Hi Astro! .....and we would have never have made it to this site and would have missed out on meeting all of these wonderful quitters. I only wish (possible you wish it as well) that I had quit many years ago!! Good job!
