Hey!! Let the naysayers say nay (sorry mr ed) you quit ANYWAY you need to .. it's about progress not perfection! I have 30+ solid days nicotine free and still smoke the occasional doo-be. some people would say i should change my meter, some would say i am not smoke free. i say this is "my quit" and i hate to think of myself as a quitter- so... i am just "not smoking"... when i see you i say OH YAY there is (my freind) KRISTI gee i missed her in the past few weeks..and when you are not posting i am praying that you will come back... i know i don't have as big of stats as others but, i look forward to when people gaze in awe at OUR STATS!! ~it works if you work it so work it 'cuz you're worth it!~

Kristilu, this is my 2nd day and I want to run out and get a pack. But, I haven't gone anywhere yet. I had a few beers this evening and that was the worse thing I did. I think it would help if you download this workbook. Kristilu- Where in my post (or Sue's) does it suggest that we want to "nudge you away"? Where does it allude to not wanting you to stick with the SSC & keep posting? To me, your response sounds defensive and it is a diversion/distraction from the point. The point is - you're here to quit, we're here to quit, and we're all in this together --- supporting each other & ourselves. I'm glad you're here and want you to stay here and keep trying. Period. Sounds to me like somebody should be putting on their Big Girl Panties and start looking for reasons to quit smoking rather than reasons to continue ??? My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 379 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,822 Amount Saved: $3,790.00 Life Gained: Days: 92 Hrs: 4 Mins: 42 Seconds: 27

Kristilu, I haven't given up on anything, I posted because I care and really want you to do this, for you, your kids, your family - it is the best thing I ever did for myself. I think 30 days will get you free of this cycle. I really do. But it all begins with you. All the info to do this is on this site. I hope you are ready soon.
