I am using Chantix... and this site and program. Whatever method you use..is for helping.. NOthing will Make you Quit but yourself. Please read, and make sure you reward yourself.. I am so amazed to be past 30 days.... and so is my husband. I had only 2 crabby days. If you get cravings or urge.. come here, read or post Post HELP in the subject or topic.. wait for 5 or 10 replies, someone is close to help you.. Seeing others are getting through this and beating the craves and addiction is a BIG help. the craving will go away and every time you say NO .. YOU win and the craves get smaller and shorter. Welcome .....:) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 578 Amount Saved: $115.60 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 37

Hi, Renee, I used Champixand the support from my fellow members here on this incredible site to quit. There is quite an array of methods among the quitters in here from cold turkey to patches to the inhaler and gum. They all work if you stick to this programme religiously and read and post and read and post as often as you can during the height of your quit. Ask for help and drink ice cold water. Do deep breathing exercises and focus on them to clear your mind and calm you down... you'll see, the cravings will back of and you'll beat the addiction hands down. Remember that you want to stop smoking way more than you want to smoke... Hi Renee..I started my quit one week ago. I am using the Nicotrol inhaler. This site has been a life saver. The people here are very supportive and the program is working for me. I've tried to quit twice before and both times I was not prepared, I had no quit plan and tried to quit cold turkey. I failed both times. This time I followed the advice of this site and the people here and I haven't slipped once. I'm feeling so much better now that I'm not smoking anymore. You can do it too. Just hang in there and visit this site often. Glad to be here! How did you all stop smoking? Cold turkey, the gum, the patch or a pill?
