Yes it is amazing I joined.. I'm not sure I was totally 100% committed to the quit. Yes I wanted to quit.. and as I read, I prepared more, I opened my mind to read and listen to the posts, to look at the meters of people.. and wow.. after I started posting, and people replied. I really got into it. and I love watching my meter ... and I don't want let myself or my friends here down. We can kick ash...LOL My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 561 Amount Saved: $112.20 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 19 Mins: 21 Seconds: 47

Asrtofan..You're getting through the roughest part of your quit. You will enjoy a baseball game without the "nic fit". And yes, we have a "couple" of golf courses here, and it is great to play all year. Hang tough with your quit. You're doing great. thanks folks , i'm into day 3 ! and yes i am a huge astros fan. my wife and i live in katy {a suburb of houston} and we go to about 25 games each season. it's one of the reasons i wanted to quit , you can't smoke in the ballpark so if i'm a non-smoker i won't care.
