Hey Ginette, we actually already started a february group. It's called February's Fabulous Freebirds. You'll see the thread in the introduce yourself section. There are several newbies like us in there and we need to stick together to get thru all of the different stages of our quits and so we can celebrate our milestones together.
Den, I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing those mood swings - I guess that happens at several different points in a quit. But you have been so strong and I just know you're going to be okay throughout this. Who cares what other people think right now you are trying to save your quit. Get your hammer out girl and let em have it if you need to!! Swing away....

Hey Kristi
just hanging in there. This last week has affected my moods BIG time. Moods are changing every second, hate being myself right now. Haven't given in, but OHHHH SOOOO want to. I just know that i will beat myself up more than i am right now and one cigarette isn't gonna even touch these mood swings. Thought i was doing good, actually great. Then BAM mood swings like crazy. Hope they pass soon, they are making me and a lot of other people miserable, don't know whether to scream bloody murder or cry an ocean. GRRRRR.
On a lighter note (oops, another mood swing!) rockstar bumped a post re:someone using patch on their leg and it really helped them. she had mentioned it may help you also. I think it is under coping with withdrawl symptoms.
take good care of you and stay strong - gotta go before the mood swings again!

Hi everybody
Kristilu you're not alone. Had two cigarettes this morning and threw away the pack. Feeling much better now since I've done that. We both can do it. Think of the rewards we'll be giving to ourselves by quitting. Nice breath, taste and smell better. A whole bunch of things. I gave that up for a fr*** cigarette. Not worth it. It's disastrous actually.
Keep in touch. We can begin a group for February. Any suggestions as to a name we can give ourselves?
