Hi mazzalon, (Marilyn), I am sure that other members will be responding to your post soon, but I just wanted to welcome you to the site. It sounds like you are really struggling right now. With this site, we have members from all over the world, so people may not respond right away, but please don't feel discouraged by this, sometimes it is just a matter of time. Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Hi Chris If you are still in this group Chris would you please answer me as I am in an anxiety state at the moment about my neighbours. I have moved to the area about 8 months ago and when we first moved here the neighbours were great now they have decided not to talk to us anymore and i dont know why this should be so. I am taking lexapro for my depression and am going to ask doctor if i can take two at night for awhile. My friend here seems to think I have a problem with people and yet is them who are hurting me. I know I have a physical handicapp Chris but that should NOT stop people from chatting should it??? It sounds like I am being rejected again why oh why???? I would like to chat with you chris if you are ever back on again, I NEED SOMEONE TO CHAT TO I CANNOT TALK TO MY FRIEND HE DONT UNDERSTAND AND DOESNT WANT TO UNDERSTAND MY FEELINGS. AND HE ALSO SAYS HE LOVES ME SOMETIMES I DO WONDER WITH MEN CHRIS TRUELY. will u please answer me when and if you can as I am new to this chat group. Marilyn from Australia.

From experience...I gained 20+ lbs on an antidepressant. Eventhough I have been off of that drug for several months now, I haven't lost any of the weight. I did however find a great antidepressant that works well for me, my anxiety and depression without the drugged feeling. It's Cymbalta. Anyone heard of it? I've been on it now for about 5 months, 60 mg a day, and seem to be getting back to my old self. Cymbalta, like Effexor XR, works on two different chemicals in the brain. The difference is that Effexor works on those two chemicals at different amounts, whereas Cymbalta works on both chemicals equally. I had tried Effexor XR in the past and it didn't work for my anxiety.

Rebecca, How do you feel about taking them at bedtime? Della
20 years ago 0 58 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Della, yes I did express my concerns, what I actually told him is that meds (any meds) cause me to panic. He said he thought it would help me and I said I would give it a try. Of course that was when I was nice and safe in the office. My regular Doctor had referred me to a psychologist so I had just met the Doctor. They are supposed to be good docs and he is from UC Davis but knowing I'm going to have to try it is causing me a lot of stress.
