Lady, your post really touched me. I, too, am a closet smoker. Although I honestly don't believe my husband doesn't know I smoke, I can't smoke when I am around him or in any social or family situations when we are together. I have even passed up travel with him on more than one occasion because I can't smoke. My daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild, and as a former smoker, she is adament that I not smoke anywhere around her and I really want to be smoke free by the time the baby arrives in the spring. I am still a little afraid of the "hell week", but I am truly grateful for all the help from all of you who have responded to me. Thank you!
