Hi there mome24_7! I noticed that your quit date is one day after mine. Congrats on one month tomorrow!!! I hope you have a nice reward planned for yourself. I was wondering why I was getting zits all of a sudden too, quit zits! Oh well. You should check in with the Octobreathers! Hey Mome24_7! You smoked alot longer than 28 days, be patient. Your body is recovering but it will take some time! The first two months sees alot of changes for most quitters. There is a lot of poisons we put into our system. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 254 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,350 Amount Saved: $2,679.70 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 1 Mins: 52 Seconds: 16

mome24_7, Your lungs are trying to clean themselves of all of the tar and other byproducts of cigarettes that accumulate when you smoke. I recommend going to the doctor to get this checked out and so you know when you can expect it to go away. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

And I didn't mean to post that yet  The funny this is that even with the 'quit zits' I bet your skin still looks 1000 times better. And I KNOW that you must smell great! I have heard of the "quit zits" but you should check with your doctor about you breathing difficulties. Congrats on 28 days by the way! I have noticed that I have more acne then before and I thought that after my quit that my lungs would clear up more and that my asthma symptoms would lesson. But I seem to have the same cough and whezing that I did when I smoked. I also am on more medication for my asthma so I thought that it would help. I guess I was wondering if these are normal or what.
