rocking or swaying sensations?

20 years ago 0 8 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
wow so that's why ive been yawning but unable to sleep... I've had the rocking sensations too , very slightly from time to time... don't worry about them, at first i thought i was going crazy, but i obviously am not :) :) I have started drinking chamomile tea and it really helps my asthma and my stress... I noticed within a few minutes how calming it was.. I will start drinking it every morning or evening... havn't decided when i need it more yet...

Thank you all yet again for your support, this is such a wonderfull group of support. I am happy to know that I am not alone with this swaying rocking sensations. Today is really bad, not half an hour after I got up it started and then i got scared thinking about the brain Tumor or Mini stroke I had, I honestly can't stop obsessing over this, everything I read about my symptoms says I have a tumor a brain attack! I can't stand this I feel as if Im losing control of everything and its scary. I just want these feeling to go away so I can feel normal again. Cassie

Cassie, The feeling of not getting enough air when you breath, usually accompanied by a "yawning" is referred to as "air hunger". This is brought on by anxiety. I had loads of this. As far as the swaying, I have felt dizziness, or rather off balance before, but I wonder if the rocking at the computer or while sitting is not giving you a motion type sickness, which in return is frightening to us with panic. Most of all, lack of sleep or interrupted sleep will heighten anyone's anxiety. Try to stick to a strict bedtime schedule, hot bath, drink some chammoille tea, read for 20 mins, then bedtime, at first you may only notice extra 10-15 mins sleep, but it will get longer and less interrupted. I find walking early evening or late afternoon helps to de-stress the body, it also regulates your breathing. Trish

Cassie, I just wanted to say that the panic program is a slow process so dont give up, be patient and do the whole program and you will see results! Samantha

Cassie, I'm glad you posted this subject.I know exactly the feeling you are talking about. I have had the same symptoms you mentioned. I have wondered if anyone else ever felt the off balance, weak, and jittery feeling but I just never posted and asked. As far as the trouble sleeping and smothering feeling, I have those regularly. Try doing the panic program on the left side of this screen. It will help your panic and anxiety and it has some great breathing exercises that you can do to overcome the smothering sensation. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Hang in there, better days are coming! Samantha

I have been feeling funny all day and I don't like it at all. I have not been sleeping well, either its inturrupted or I wake early and can't fall back asleep even when Im still so tierd. I have this funny sensation that comes and goes through out the days that have gone by and I wonder if anyone here has experienced the same thing as me. I feel off balance and I can't figure out if its the sensation of being dizzy or something else. I feel as if when sitting or at the computer I rock back and forth or my body is swaying in some way, I feel sort of week and jittery and it's just really scaring me. I have had so many anxiety attack in the past and recently that I cant remember if this is something I have felt befor. I also feel as if I can't get enough air and I am constently taking deep breaths to try and eleviate the awfull suffocating sensations. Sometimes a purpetualy yawn. Please if anyone knows what this is or have experienced it let me know? Thank you so much for you support.
