Every once in a while I get headaches like that. It is an intense sharp and throbbing pain in the back of my head that lasts about 5 seconds and then recedes. For me, they usually repeat over a half a day or so before they go away. I've had spells like this maybe 10 times or so as far as I can remember. Nothing bad has ever happened other than the pain, and they always went away after a good nights sleep. I just figured it was some sort of headache. Does that sound like what you're experiencing?
