I just ran through the list of names and I see one (Shutterbug) that is familiar. Everyone else appears new and that is good (I think) assuming that all my old friends are off the smokes and well. For anyone that may slightly care I am Duckman and I quit on Aug 25th 2005. I never had as much as a puff since. I am off for life and am happy with my choice. I smoked for many years and for the last few tried to be a closet smoker while I trained for running events. I knew I was fooling myself, but when you are in the ring and actually doing it there is some kind of denial that takes over and now in retrospect it seems insane. Good luck to all of you that have taken this necessary step in your lives to make this just a thing of the past. I now know that if you dont die directly from smoking you will definetly impact it in a negative way that will put limits on what you can and cannot do when you get older. So no matter what else you may or may not do with your lives make this your biggest priority. I am so thankful for my support from all my old friends on this site that helped me along the way. Never look back from the positive decesions you all have made. Remember it's never to late to become who you might have been.
