I Am Still A Quitter Y'all

Hiya Lady! Thanks for asking about my Grand daughter. She is now 15 months old and the bestest thing to happen to our family. She is so full of life and energy, she just sparkles in my eyes!! For those who don't know the story. When my daughter found out she was pregnant with my first Grand baby, I let her know I would do ANYTHING for her. She asked me to quit smoking. I was like, ain't no way! I have smoked 3 packs a day for 35 years, I CAN'T quit. But I did :) I was going to wait until May, when the baby was due, but thought what the heck, and quit in November. Used the patch for 4 days, bit a hole in each cheek, was a crabby-ass for a good 10 days. Had a few hissy fits, but I DID it! Now the smell of smoke makes me ill. I smell good. I am a non-smoker. My breath is sweet. I don't have to stand in the heat/cold at work to smoke. I walk tall.

Wow, it has been a really long time since I' ve visited this wonderful community. LOOK AT MY STATS - Amazing huh? I can not believe that I have came this far. Being smoke-free is the most powerful feeling I have ever had. If I can quit smoking, YOU can quit smoking. I was HOOKED Y'all, I smoked day and night for 35 years. I QUIT - YOU CAN TOO! Believe in yourself. Trust yourself. Ya know, if you can get past that first week - One stinking week, you will then OWN YOUR LIFE. Don't be weak. Take your life back and let those around you, those who love you, celebrate the freedom from smoking brings. Best of luck to all those who are trying to quit.... You CAN do it!
