Not feeling so great!

I think I know exactly what you mean. With me, any little bit of discomfort makes me get afraid that my anxiety may be coming back, and so I start freaking out about that. It usually takes me a little bit to recognize the fact that I am freaking out about getting anxious, but when I do, that just adds a whole ton of frustration to the mix. It's like, "hey, cut it out, I'll never get out of this if I keep getting afraid of being afraid of being afraid...". But, then I feel like there's nothing I can do about it because if I try, then of course I'll just get more afraid about not succeeding (*and, guess what, that was just another fear!). It's been my experience that the best way to deal with that for me has been to talk or write all of my thoughts and frustrations out. I love this website for that reason; its a place I can "talk" to people without having to see them face to face. Talking about some of this stuff is a lot easier to do to a computer screen than a living, breathing person. Anyway, best wishes, and hope you feel better soon!

Have you been getting enough sleep? Are you drinking enough water? It sounds silly, but those 2 simple things can really affect the way you feel. Try drinking more water and watching what you eat for the next few days. Take a walk. Do something to get your juices flowing and relieve your stress. Hang in there! Katie

Hi everybody, I hope you are all doing great. The past 2 or 3 days I have not been feeling so well. I basically just have the "blahs", no energy, slight headache.. just not feeling good. I have almost convinced myself that it is anxiety creeping back in on me even though this is not what anxiety really feels like. Does that make sence? I don't know any other way to describe it. Just feeling "not so great" the past few days has gotten me scared that maybe my Zoloft is "pooping out" on me or something. I dont know, can someone please give me some feedback?? I have never had headaches with anxiety before but I'm convincing myself that is why I'm not feeling right. I wonder if I just have a simple bug or something? I know I'm rambling..sorry! Please write back soon. Chanda
