Freddie29, Congratulations on two weeks smoke free! We encourage you to work through the online quit program if you haven't already and keep us posted on how you're doing. Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

freddie I know this is a tricky time, I did the patches as well. Its good that you are aware of the fact that the crave lasts, as you say, a little more than 5 minutes...I had to go so far as to carry a stop watch around with me just to remind myself of that very important fact...I also found that drinking water was invaluable...drink all you can and then have more...It will ease you down that road...Hang tough, your doing fine...Oh and the interview thing, I would use that as an object lesson to yourself, that no matter what cigarettes aren't going to get that job, you are, so there is absolutely no reason to smoke... Stay well and strong nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 210 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,300 Amount Saved: $1,470.00 Life Gained: Days: 38 Hrs: 10 Mins: 17 Seconds: 22

That's a big milestone!! Get yourself a reward. Keep you eyes on your stats and watch them grow. It makes it easier. Like....shoot for 21 days. Great job. Hey Freddie That's great! 2 weeks. Have you given yourself a reward for making it this far? It's great you're identifying possible triggers. What can you do instead of smoking to settle your nerves before (and after) the interview? Maybe buy yourself a treat? Good luck on the interview! And it's so fantastic that you have already noticed that each crave, or urge as I like to call them ;), only lasts 5 minutes. We can put up with almost anything for 5 minutes, right? Again, congratulations on the 2 weeks!!!! -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 123 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,920 Amount Saved: $836.40 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 5 Mins: 48 Seconds: 36
