Ulcerative Colitis - Now What?

J~ I am sorry to hear about the outcome of your tests. I know the diagnosis is pretty overwhelming...(I read up on ulcerative colitis after your post). Education is one of the best tools in dealing with chronic illness. I found an reference to a new therapy in dealing with UC that is hopeful and the link is as follows: http://my.webmd.com/content/article/71/81313?src=Inktomi&condition=Inflammatory_Bowel I could not link the full article as it is member restricted, but perhaps if you have access to a library you could look it up. I know it's difficult but try to stay calm and focused on getting well...Please take care. Tam

Hi...I am wondering if anyone out there is struggling with both Panic Disorder and Ulcerative Colitis. I've had PD for 2.5 years and was diagnosed with UC on Thursday, 6/24. What I read is conflicting and scary. I am overwhelmed and afraid this is really the beginning of the end for me. Anyone with some experience-good or bad? Thanks Jason
