Get your OWN ball bat......knock hell out of ole Nic when he DARES to show his face......seriously....POUND something, the ground, a punching bag, a pillow.....and envision it being an embodiment of your addiction. see yourself as being in control....(and thanking the HP for that doesn't hurt either!)

Much better today ;)
Laniney, I found those on three different days and three different locations. So changeing the route wouldn't have mattered. Yesterday had a twist to it. I was meditating while walking. In the evening I alway thank my Higher Power for keeping me smoke free and sober for another day, but I forget to ask for help in the morning. So I asked my HP to remove my desire to smoke from me and then 10 minutes later there laid the cig :eg: You see my HP has a wonderful since of humor and I thank Him for that. He gave me a choice and I chose not to smoke ;)
Dupe, I had a dog that had to wear one of those collars. He was my first dog and we called him Sparky :eg:
Anyway my day is off to a better start and I am smoke free and "WE CAN DO IT !!!
Keep the quit

Well you know I have had that conversation recently. Just go back...you can quit again. NO WAY - NOT AGAIN. I liken it to hitting my head against a brick wall. It is too hard to find the courage to make another effort...if we do...and it is doubly hard to make it through the first few weeks. I am not going through this again. Thanks for the reminder quit buddy. We need to remember often, not only how hard it is to lose a quit, but how hard it is to be a smoker again.

Sparky ... You are doing so well! We don't want to see you get hit on the head anymore!! I have to agree with Lainey...that Smoker must have a hole in his pocket (I think we should mail him a needle and thread!)

Sparky,
I just LOVE the energy you are putting into this quit. You're nearly halfway to the beach!
And your reasoning about the baseball bat makes a lot of sense. None of us want to be "hit" with that bat again. I'm just recovering from one nasty "bump". No more!
Let's get that conga line movin'.
WE CAN DO THIS, WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
Cheers, Jan :)

Sparky,
Being on Day 44 is a major achievement - be very proud! Hopefully it is easier now then when you first started and in another 44 Days it will just be a passing fancy. Or a fancy baseball bat, whichever the case may be.
Great job

Sparky,
Way to hang in there! Maybe you should become a fan (a non smoking fan) of ping-pong, that wouldn't hurt as bad as a bat. But then again, I have a feeling you won't be hit again- you CAN do this and we will help!!
