I have had the same problem with my mountain biking I went on a tuff ride today. I got far out there and was pushing myself to hard and when I stoped my body took over and I got hit hard with a panic attack. It sucked so bad that my group I was ridding with thought I was having heat stroke. But I knew what happend and so did one of the other riders glade someone was there to help talk me thourgh it.

Hi nurseboy I love running and cycling still, although i dont run now, but i do the odd mountain bike trek. Trouble is with me, i love cycling so much that before i know it, i've gone miles and miles, realise i'm out in the middle of nowhere, which then sets my panic off. I'm working on it though. Slowly but surely. Great fun though, so i hope you enjoy yourself while you are doing it. Best wishes Mudslinger
