Hey y'all,
I am feeling better, but still not 100%. I've NEVER before been so sick that I stayed in bed for three weeks! The doctors are still trying to figure out what's wrong with me - first they said I had hypothyroidism then they said no, that's wrong, it's hyPER not hypO. Now they're saying my thyroid levels are normal. Geesh!
In the meantime I've had a mess of blood tests (all normal), chest x-rays (normal), two EKGs (normal), an echocardiogram (normal), an ultrasound of my thyroid (normal), and a two-day uptake scan of my thyroid (normal). If I'm so darn normal then WHY DO I FEEL SO YUCKY?!?!?! LOL!
I'd like to share one thing...
I've seen four doctors in the past three weeks: two primary physicians, one endocrinologist, and one cardiologist, and ALL FOUR OF THEM were SO HAPPY to hear that I'd quit smoking FIVE MONTHS AGO!! Each and every one of them gave me kudos for doing such a smart thing! Made me feel REALLY good! :)
