Hi Faith
My local store is half a block away so believe me... I know the "store temptation"!! Doing deals with yourself if a good ploy, like unhooked says. For me, I made a deal that if I wanted to buy ciggies, it had to be after 9pm when the local store was closed. Then... well, I'd have to hoof it down to the 7/11. For that, I'd need to really want one (I don't have a car and it's winter here... a good 20 minute walk in the cold rain?). Being lazy has succeeded in trumping craving so far!
By the time you come up with a good and complicated deal, the craving is usually gone anyhow.
