It's so true. If there's one thing that has consistently kept the thought of smoking at bay with me, it is how stupid it would be to become a social outcast again. Smoking never made any sense....but now it is ludicrous. Glad to see your post, Joe! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 470 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 18,800 Amount Saved: $4,230.00 Life Gained: Days: 77 Hrs: 20 Mins: 31 Seconds: 37

Yes getting harder and harder to smoke, makes it easier and easier to stay quit. Why get on board a sinking ship? I heard the beach is off limits in California...and will VERY soon be in Florida. In New York State they want to lengthen the distance you have to be outdoors from an establishment. It already has taken place in Federal/State buildings and hospitals. I venture to say in the next decade or so smoking will make you an outcast. That is why they are focused on teenagers. Fellow Quitters, Just got back from a weeks vacation up in Wisconsin. Lake Geneva area to be specific. Most of the restaurants there still have smoking sections, however, one area that is now off-limits is the beach! Only in America will they allow smoking indoors, but not outdoors!! LOL Hey, I'll take what I can get!! Be Strong. Be Smart.
