* Thanks, BS, Phil, Danielle, for the kind words. Much appreciated! BS, no, I'm not turning around. As I wrote before, the bridge has been burnt, and in no way that I would go back to that land of nicotine addicts. :) On the practical matter: I still keep my NRT inhaler, as the last line of defense. I use it less and less often, but I'm not ready to throw it away. That's my way! :) Cheers, nmc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 260 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,603 Amount Saved: $1300 Life Gained: Days: 49 Hrs: 10 Mins: 45 Seconds: 28

no more cig, I understand where you are coming from. But believe me when I say that you WILL feel comfort! It wasn't until I was well over 18 months quit that I finally felt completely "free" of the addiction. For some of us, it takes longer. Don't give up hope! You'll get there too! Yes, this is a long road, but it's a road worth traveling! Don't turn around now! Congrats on 18 months! Crave the Quit! Friends, As some of you may remember me, this is my fifth major quit, after 35 years of smoking. In the early stage, being honest and realistic, I stated that it would take at least 35 weeks for me to overcome this addiction. :) Well, friends, I must say that after 36 weeks, I still have moments of discomfort and craving. Yes, they come and go, and I have to deal with them, one by one, every day! :) The road to full recovery is long and hard. Patience and kindness to your body are the key, I think! :) Cheers, nmc
