I'm down to one pack a day...of gum, that is.

Legend, Only needing to chew one pack of gum, instead of two, is definitely a great sign! Now you need to switch to sugarless gum or you'll be down to one tooth! ;) You & I are very much in sync - we quit one day apart, and I've also been chewing gum non-stop! Unfortunately, all that gum-chewing has also resulted in me doing something else non-stop... Keep up the good work - I'm happy to be sharing this journey with you! Legend, Well you have found your coping mechanism! Good for you! Yes, I am sure that your jaw is a little soar (HA!). Congratulations on being smoke-free for 32 days :). Have a great day! Melanie ________________________ The SSC Support Team

When I stopped in January, I stocked up on mints. I eventually was addicted to mints. Everytime I craved I would have one. I have noticed that I am not even grapping them anymore! You have one month behind you! That is great!!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 80 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,205 Amount Saved: $336 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 10 Mins: 25 Seconds: 23

I've been chewing my way through 2 packs of gum daily since beginning my quit, and yesterday I only did one. Gum has literally been a lifesaver for me as a substitute behavior. When I was having a bad crave and couldn't get online here, I reached for that stick of gum. Thanks, Juicy Fruit!! To tell you the truth, my jaw muscles are getting a little tired...
