Way to go candy cane!
Keep using those mechanisms to keep you busy and give your body some rest at night :)

Way to go CandyCane...Glad to see you have your first reward all ready in place..
Just remember that may result in a trigger once it's all over LOL
My hubby would typically now add....
"That just means you have to not stop" :)

Haha! I can't believe you put that in there! Must be those misfiring neurons from the first quit day. Somehow I missed the increased libido as a side effect of quitting! ;p
In any event---keep up the good work!
Phil---put your tongue back in your mouth! No! You cannot have a candycane all for yourself!

This is day one and so far it isn't bad. I'm going cold turkey as I have tried the patch and only have nightmares on it. Cleaned the car out and taken away all evidence of smoke. I plan on having wild sex when I feel better. I will make it through day one and on to day 2.
Day 2 and going strong. So far its not as hard as I thought it would be. This group is great because it lets me know there are others with the same problem. Today I wasn't tempted when a man lit up next to me maybe because he didn't smoke the cigs I like. Just taking one second ast a time.
CandyCane, it's very important to reward yourself!! ha ha ha ha ha
How are you doing today? Keep us posted. We're here for you anytime you need to talk.
