Aunt Deb, I Thougt that being on the patches you did go threw withdrawls. It was just a gradual method. I dont think I could do it cold turkey. this is the longest i have gone and I still have about 6 weeks left on the patches.. I really want to do this. Are you saying that I will have all the withdrawls all over again when i go off the patch? Does anyone else have any ideas? mommy2...just remember that the patches are nicotine...and you will have to go through withdrawal eventually (you can't stay on them forever..or do you want to?) 72 hours...is all it takes. Get it over with. Get some straws to chew on, go to bed and sleep, take deep breaths, drink lots of water...you can do it...take a walk and breathe some fresh spring air.... auntdeb My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 81 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,081 Amount Saved: $384.75 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 5 Mins: 28 Seconds: 45

I quit smoking about a month ago. Im using the patch, its not bad its working pretty good but yesterday I had one of those really stressful days. I no no excuse but I was out and bought a pack , I did not smoke any I threw them away.my worry is when i go off these patches am I still going to have that kind of stength? It great that I found this site. Everyone seems so supportive. I really want to do this but sometimes its so hard anyway thanks for listening it does helpto vent.
