Hello! I am new to this board, I am so glad to find this website. I am from the outer suburbs of Akron,Ohio. I have been suffering with anxiety for ten years now, after my first son was bron it started. I feel sometimes the symptoms are getting worse. Thanks

I currently live in North Carolina, but will be relocating to Nashville, TN at the end of the month. If there's anyone out there in Nashville, I'd love to chat! I'm 35 and have been dealing with my panic disorder since I was about 8.

Hi everyone I am from sunny (although not this time of the year) South Africa. I am 32 years old and I suspect I have suffered with Panic Disorder for about 10 years. Spent a fortune on doctors with no luck until about 6 years ago when I read an article in a magazine about panic disorder. At the time was not having any problems so thought I was cured. Resurfaced again 2 and a half years ago when my ex boyfriend and i broke up, thought i had dealt with it but it is back with a vengence. Have just downloaded the the panic program and going to start seeing a therapist very soon, have started on antidepressant / anxiety disorder medication and also tranqualisers and every day am feeling a little better, but it is exhausting right now trying to stop myself from having the panic thoughts and trying to calm myself when they do happen. I am so glad I decided to check out for some info on the web as it is a relief to finally see that I am really not nutz and that I can be cured of this and lead a normal life ... some time soon hopefully. And it is really great to meet all of you.

Hi, I'm from Vancouver area, BC (Canada) and have had panic disorder off and on for 21 years with long periods (years) of remission in between episodes. After a series of trauma's it's back again and been back for about 6 years. Last remission was 7 years so here's to hoping for another one that lasts even longer!! Lene ;)

HI! I am from Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) and I think I am the only Eastern European person here.Unfortunately,I had a very bad day today travelling back from my holidays in the mountains. I was on co-drivers seat and felt tense all the time,but when we got on a highway it turned into a terrible panick attack,one of the worst I have experienced in the last two months. I sat on the back seat,and it helped a little but not much.I am very depressed at the moment as it spoiled my holidays and my hard attemts to fight panick attacks.anyway,I am happy with the site and it helps me a lot. :)
