Hi Autumn
The Chantix is supposed to stop the receptors in your brain from getting the nicotine. It makes smoking useless. You are supposed to take Chantix for 1 week and then quit smoking. You will still have to endure the craves from quitting, but they won't seem as bad because of the chantix. The nicotine will be out of your body in 3 days and then you only have to deal with the psychological part of your quit. I had been a 25+year smoker (close to 30 years), then i started Chantix and quit. That was 75 days ago. Without the chantix i think i would have started up again. It really helped with the craves. You can do this, read the directions on your Chantix package and lets get you started.
There is so much help on this site, you have found the right place to come to. Let us know how we can help you.
