lavndr... Everyone's quit is different. I've seen those that seem to sleep away those early days and then others just don't need as much sleep at all. I don't think either is abnormal. Our bodies go through a lot when we quit. It takes time to adjust to the changes. Just don't smoke and you will be fine. I am hoping this will pass very soon. I am way too busy in life and can barely get through a day. Working full time, w/ a part time job and going to school part time AND my kids and animals! I don't have time to be drained! It is all I can do to keep awake here at work! Thanks for all the replies......Have a wonderful Mothers Day to all moms!!!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 324 Amount Saved: $56.32 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 33 Seconds: 23

Don't know if it's Chantix or quitting or a mix. But I know the first 2-3 weeks I was soooo drained. Just pamper yourself and relax when you can, whether it's just to sit on the couch and read the paper, take a nap, take a bath, etc... It'll get better. I am also taking Chantix... and I am also very tired. I didn't notice this until about a week and a half ago. I first thought it was because of the overtime I was working. I know that had a lot to do with it, but I just haven't recovered. I have heard that others also go through this with ot without Chantix.. so I am game to believe that it is from the quit. If I don't get over it in the next week or so I am going to see my doctor though, just to be safe. Part of you being tired is the quit itself. You body is healing and it needs time to recover. This will change and you will get your energy back. I am doing Changix too and I am on the end of week 10. Congrats on your quit. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 71 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,792 Amount Saved: $355 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 14 Mins: 9 Seconds: 5

I am taking Chantix and it is working wonderfully. Since I have quit smoking, I have been soooooooo very tired all the time. Is this normal??? Is it the Chantix or the quit? I went on the Chantix website and it said it could be a side effect, but would only last a few days. I really didn't notice how tired I was until after I quit..
