Hi Susie - It's really hard to stop thinking about smoking if you are still doing things the same each day. For me, if I have cravings, they will be in the evenings because sometimes I am just too tired to do anything different....but if I am out at a hockey game, visiting a non-smoking friend or watching a movie, I don't have cravings.
It takes awhile to create new non-smoking memories but they will come. Could you go for a short walk, drink your coffee in a different location or switch it up some other way?
Congrats on 8 weeks.....it does get better...
Windy
