Sugarnose, I am right with you. It looks like we've both been quit since the new year and having a hard time losing weight. I am also working my butt off with exercise and merely maintaining. Three months seems like such a long time to wait, but it looks like that's the minimum time it has taken others to start losing weight. Only another month and a half for us....in the meantime, let's keep trying! :)
Just a little something I read the other day in a health magazine: smokers tend to have a lower BMI than non-smokers (which explains a lot) but they also have more toxic belly fat (around the liver). Hhmmm...something to think about... We are still healthier now than when we smoked. Period!
