As dupe said in another post, I think its the "idealistic" cigarette I've been craving. There is no such thing. We have to be careful not to fall into the trap of romanticizing smoking. It was what it was. It made me cough, made my throat burn sometimes, and I always smelled of smoke. It causes cancer and there's nothing romantic about that! These are passing phases, and definitely not as difficult to handle with 90+ days. I think it takes a good year to feel REALLY comfortable. Each day without a smoke is a day towards permanent freedom. Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 93 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,810 Amount Saved: $837 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 12 Mins: 43 Seconds: 41

Bear, a BMW not for 30 days, but who knows for your 5 year anniversary. You should have saved enough for a down payment on a hubcap. What ya think??? Have you been watching the news today? There has been a horriable shooting at VA Tech, Tech is a large college, that is close to where I live. I will check in with you later. Glad to hear you are paying those credit cards down. Hey Mommom That jingle you hear is the change thats left over from paying down my maxed out credit cards !!! You have to jump and dance around these days just to stay warm around here these days. But I was watching a golf tournament from Flordia on the weekend and it does,nt look that grand in the sunshine state either so I guess there,s no point in B------- about it. :) It,s kind of amazing is,nt it for a guy who was,nt sure whether he wanted to quit smoking or not..but I just take it one day at a time and hopefully when the patches are all finished so will the need to smoke. So you still have 6 more weeks of this old mans nonsense ;p

Hey, What's the sound coming from Ontario the last few days? No, it's not wheezing! No, it's not coughing! Can you hear it? It's a little jingle in the pocket of the Old Bear as he struts down the street with a bounce in his step and a twinkle in his eye that wasn't there 27 days ago! Why is that? It isn't the pie, or the birdies by the feeder, or the landlady, or even his lighted keyboard...it's because....umm, :quest: What's goin' on up there? I've been told you're a dancin' and a prancin' around town like a young buck. What's gotten into you? Tell us, please, Bear! You gotta share!
