Welcome SethParker! Congratulations on your first day! Don't be too hard on yourself. What matters is now you're quitting. Please take the time to work through our online quit program. It's a great tool that can help you plan for cravings and other triggers. Bear, Next time you're in contact with researchers ask them about how & when the results will be released and the purpose of the study. Most researchers are more than happy to share this information with participants. Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Thanks Bear, I was just curious. I'm sure we will hear about it when the year is up. Stay with the program, I hope all 125 will stay. WOW, what a boost that would be for the patch.. Welcome Seth, good to have you on SSC. Seth, I think we all feel ashamed at some point, especially when we know what we are doing to our body. Don't let the guilt pull you down, you have started a new journey and your body will start healing really quick. Just remember one day at a time. Hi there. This is my first day too. I feel ashamed of smoking so much, and like I'm a freak for doing it. Could this be another reason, that you want to quit. Bear, No matter if your meter says 1, 10, 50, or 1,000, be proud. You are doing it one day at a time...Don't forget those patches, I used the patch and followed it the whole 10 weeks. I know it is hard to try and find something to do to keep you busy. I hope the weather improves so you can go back to the golf course...As for now continue to watch the birds, feeding them has to make you feel good. Do you get any support or feedback from the foundation you received the patches from? You have some kind of post going here. Don't you just love the support you get. As you said its people we don't know and probably will never meet. But that's okay, its just knowing someone is always here to help, or just talk. I love your sense of humor. That will take you far. Good morning Bear, Hope your day is going well, I was looking at your stats congratulations on your amazing 15 days. You have come a long way. I know how proud you are. Talking about snow, we have 3" in Virginia (USA) which is very unusual. The temp is 20 degrees, I know that everything is frozen. So many of the fruit trees were budding, and all kinds of flowers were coming up. Keep up the good work, and keep on posting... :) Happy Easter!!!!
