Thank you all for the kind words. You know what? I'm an "all or nothing" kind of gal, so when I smoked, I SMOKED! 2 packs a day adds up in a hurry!
But now that I'm a non-smoker, I REALLY am a NON-smoker! I don't miss it a bit!
I was thinking about those 8,000 cigarettes. How many of them do you suppose I would have even remembered, let alone "enjoyed"?
Not many, if I'm honest with myself.
So I like Interesting's idea of imagining those 8,000 cigarette butts in one giant, nasty pile! If that won't keep you a nonsmoker, I don't know what will!
Keep the faith, all and most importantly, keep those great quits going!
