Congrats Kayla!!!!!!! I know what you mean about not sleeping. I am still going through that. Everyone needs support no matter how many days they are smoke free. If it was easy to quit we would have all done it a long time ago. Keep up the great work. Take care Stay Smoke Free!!!!!!!!! Jersy :)

Well it's almost 3pm and I really haven't had that much of an urge to smoke. I've been pretty busy and alot of support here at work. It's funny they all thought I would be an evil woman and I've been pretty calm. Probably because I'm so tired. Any way still hanging in there and I'll try going to sleep early thanks!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 125 Amount Saved: $33 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 14 Seconds: 6

first of all I want to thank everyone for their support. Yesterday was rough but made it through another day one second at a time. I also went shopping with my daughter and spent a small fortune. Oh well a small reward for me not smoking. So far doing ok today. I still didn't sleep last night and now I'm at work. It's going to be a long day...... Hi Kayla, Just take it one minute, one hour and one day at a time. Go to bed early if you can. I also used a heating pad to help me relax. This does get better. Just keep smiling and telling yourself you are now a ex-smoker. Yell if you need us. Read up on some of the side effects of cleaning your body of all those toxins. Not sleeping is one of them. Give it a little time, you'll be sleeping better than ever. Keep that big glass of water near your desk while your at work. Instead of going outside for a smoke, take a couple of minutes and drink that water. Jump in here and read a post or two if you can and think for a second. Smoking never did a thing for you...I know I'm not SMOKING TODAY. How about you? Keep the Faith!
