I have added you to my buddy list, it is not showing you as signed in. I'll be on for a bit. When you clicked launch...did a "cutechat" box come up My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/28/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 168 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,534 Amount Saved: $598.08 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 21 Mins: 29 Seconds: 30

OK, it probably would have helped if I'd done it right before I listed the steps. Now that I've done it just now, here are some revisions: After you click "launch," in the top right hand corner, it says "add contact" not "add a buddy." Also, if you have a pop-up blocker, you must disable your pop-up blocker or tell it to allow pop-ups from this site. What part of the process are you having problems with? Maybe that would help me help you better. Crave the Quit! The first thing you have to do is find people that you want to add to your buddy list. Think of some names of people who have helped you or people who quit around the same time as you. On the home page, there's a list of people who have logged into the IM in the last 30 minutes... that might also be a good place to look (if you click from the screen you're looking at right now in the top right hand corner of the post, there's a button that says "home" right next to "forum for new users and general discussion." Click on home and then near the top, it says something like members who have logged in in the last 30 minutes or something like that). OK, so you know who you want to add to your buddy list... the next thing to do is on the home page, click the button that says "launch." From there, on the upper right hand side, it says "add a buddy" or something like that. That's where you will search for the names of the people who you just decided that you wanted to add to your buddy list. Search for them and when you find them, click on add to buddy list. Then, you can chat with them when they're on. Hint: DO NOT click on "add to buddy list" under a person's name on any of the posts. That is a function of our OLD IM that they got rid of. That will NOT work!!! Hope I've helped you. If you still can't figure it out, let me know. Crave the Quit! You probably still need to disable your pop-ups then. I know that today, I had to go to 4 different places to find out which place was blocking the pop up. I have the Google, Yahoo and AOL toolbars on my IE and I couldn't figure out which one was blocking it. It turned out it was AOL, but each one has a pop-up blocker, so if you have more than one toolbar like that, then that may be the thing blocking it. Chances are, if you click "launch" and nothing happens, then it's a pop-up blocker. Finding out which one though might be more complicated. Let me know if ANYTHING comes up... if it does, then let us know what so we can help you better. Crave the Quit! Bobbi, In addition to disabling your pop-up blocker, you also must set your security settings to the default level. To do so, follow these steps: * Open Internet Explorer web browser * Go to tools at the top of the screen * Go to internet options * Go to the security tab * Click on the icon that says default level If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us via the feedback section.
