Yes.. listen to yuor aunt Deb!! Call your doctor. Cigarettes do produce chemicals in your brain...and your brain may be missing them. You may need an anti-depressant or a different dose if you take them. Thinking of you! My husband has BP and is also trying to stop smoking. He is unable to stay stable and quit completely. He has had to slowly ween himself off one less smoke a week. Good idea to call your tdoc and maybe increase your anti depress. Dont let this be a reason not to quit, just remember that you may have to take a different approach.

ok... 2 and a half weeks into my quit and I am bummed out. I am very proud of my quit, but I'm stuck in this deep depression that I'm having a hell of a time getting out of. Now, I do have manic depression, but it hasn't been this bad for me in YEARS! Just don't really know what to do.... Starz, Relax yourself and reward yourself! Sometimes you need you time :) Also check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
