Stepping down

Hey Dune - I think that you should do whatever works for you. Many successful quitters started on the patch and quit cold turkey. (Like you, they wanted to get the tobacco out of their system more quickly and were prepared for some rough days) Today is my last day on patches. I probably should have quit on Sunday as it was already 7 p.m. before I remembered to put it on. I know that my craves are more mental than physical now. And I'm counting on the support of SCC to help deal with the mental part. (Boy - you guys have your work cut out for you!) All the best on the 14 mgs! Dune, Congrats on 2 weeks and know that you are doing a great job! It is important to continue the patch program as suggested, but do take the time to talk with your pharmacist and doctor for their advice on how to step down. Make sure you have coping mechanisms ready at your side and be prepared. We know you can do this and we are behind you all the way! Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
