So Easy to Forget

18 years ago 0 2027 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Windy and every one else: Never, ever forget what it was like to smoke. Never, ever forget why you chose to quit. Every day I remember the miserable details of smoking. I can still feel the heat of the cig on my fingers and lips, and in my mouth. I can feel the sting of the smoke in my eyes and throat. It often will actually trigger a cough. As long as I can recall those details of the reality of smoking, there is no way I will ever go back. Keep up the great quits, everyone. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 561 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,221 Amount Saved: $2131.8 Life Gained: Days: 104 Hrs: 14 Mins: 20 Seconds: 25

Wendy, this is why it's such a good idea to keep a quit journal. It's a great help during rough times to look back and recall the struggles we had. You are doing great!
