HI Phiber Optik - Just hold on tight - it can be easier and calmer... no need to do anything right now other than keep that guard up and put one foot in front of the other... Good for you! You're doing beautifully! I know what you mean, Phiber, about waiting for the shoe to drop. Don't worry about it. If it does, it does and you can deal with it then. It may never happen, either. But if it does, don't let it surprise you or throw you off. Know that it will be temporary and will pass and you will survive smoke-free. BTW, if that gift horse has the price tag still on him, look in the mouth. You might be able to exchange. :p Keep up the great quit, Phiber. Congrats on 12 smoke-free days. That's great PO.....but beware the junkie thinking.... "If it's this easy to quit, I can just quit whenever I want to......" "I've got it under control now, so I can just have the one when I go out..." These have led to the undoing of many a quit. Hey, I'm really pleased things are going well for you. Keep on going! Congratulation PO on 12 comfortable days! Yes, quite a few of us have had easy quits. Why? Not sure but in my humble opinion I think it is all to do with state of mind and positive thinking. Just Keep Doing It Penitent d903
