If you can post and help one person just a little bit, it's worth it. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 191 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,251 Amount Saved: $668.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 16 Mins: 45 Seconds: 17

Hello there, friend - great thread! At the beginning of my Quit, this place helped me immensely... Now I come to help others and give back... My Quit has a very powerful foundation, so I am here as I want to be rather than needing to be... I think it depends on what our needs are... Blessings and Light- Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 208 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,283 Amount Saved: $967.2 Life Gained: Days: 26 Hrs: 23 Mins: 38 Seconds: 54

Hi Another February Knight standing up to be counted! I post occassionally, when I feel moved to do so, but I read every single day. Although I cannot comment on any connection between posting and length of quit - I can say that I would definately not have 7+ months of quit if I had not found this site and read the posts of others every single day. When the worst times happen(and they do!!),there is always someone here who can empathise, because they have been through it all and out the other side. The long term quiters encourage and promise things will definately get better - given a bit more patience and I believe them totally. Good luck to everyone Ozzgran - Quit date:14.02.06 (Sorry, no downloaded stats table)

Hi fellow Knight! I'm only here because I have become addicted to this site. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 220 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,308 Amount Saved: $990 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 17 Mins: 43 Seconds: 22

You know, Mr Ed, that would be an interesting correlation. And I don't doubt there is some validity to your hypothesis. On the other hand, I'm not as frequent a poster as some (BFS, I can only presume that your post count meter flipped the scale and restarted from 0 ;)), but I have no intentions of giving up this quit. I have had weak moments in this journey and I expect I will again in the future. I can only hope that my foundation that has been built, with a debt of gratitude to this place and you guys, is sturdy enough to withstand the test of time. I think there are probably many who have quit successfully and used this site predominantly for lurking purposes (I certainly have often, moreso earlier in my quit). Of course, I have no stats here, just supposition. So, in answer to your question, I really have no idea ;) But, I tell ya what, I for one enjoy those who do post frequently and I dare say, those of you who do, have assisted far more of us quitters than you'll know and I salute you. Nice to see you guys. keep fightin' the good fight - fish My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 281 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,454 Amount Saved: $1405 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 10 Mins: 28 Seconds: 46

Hello all I stayed close to the site and posted in the begining months often. It really helped me get past the hardest times. I still visit once a week or so now. The intial reading and posting helped me stay quit. Then it was changing the behavior and learning to deal with the triggers. Still get the urge, but it is less and less. I know I acn not have one.
