I found two unopened packs in my car on the very first day of my quit. (I had them stashed everywhere for emergencies.) I was actually able to laugh at them, but couldn't bring myself to throw them away (not at $4-something a pack!), so I very carefully set them in the parking lot for some "lucky" person to find. When I returned to my car, 2 or 3 hours later, the two packs were sitting neatly on top of my fender! So I left them there and tore out of the parking lot, taking the corners as fast as I could, just to watch the packs fly off. It's like they were glued there! Finally, they both flew off into the wild blue yonder. Don't know what ever became of them.

Great job showing them to someone. That is a great test and you passed! You will pass again and again.

You are not going to believe this!!! I started to get a little edgy so I thought I would take a little walk around the yard. When I got near the street I something laying there and walked over to pick it up and throw it away. OMG it was half of carton of cigs. 5 packs!!! OMG!!! I called a friend and she is coming to get them. I thought for a brief second I could hide them. Thought better of it and brought them into the house and showed to my husband. He knows there are 5 packs and that my friend is picking them up. This is insane. I made a promise that I would stay smoke free and I will do that. But really has anyone have this happen to them? OMG.
