Oh Jan I hope you had a great dart game, I miss darts!
I have had a few of those days too, you're right, it's not fun being misery to be around, I'll keep that in mind.
And they do pass, which I find amazing!

You're doing sooooooo well Jan!
And yes, those craves do come - but they do go and you're doing a bang up job with your quit!
Enjoy your evening out and before you know it one month smoke free will be upon you and you make sure you reward yourself big time!

Hi Jan - I just HATE those cravings........but they do go away (I probably shouldn't think about them...it's been awhile since I had a bad one) One day I had to crawl under the covers in the middle of the day (I wasn't even tired but I couldn't stand it!!) Thank goodness for my blankets and my remote...

Thanks guys for the pep talk and support. I have to admit I do feel better this morning. Craves do come and go, and the trick is to ride them out, WHATEVER way possible. I'm sure there'll be more craves to come. I'll be ready!!!!
Have a great day,
Cheers, Jan

After nearly 28 smoke free days, the worst craving yet struck around supper time. All I could think about was a smoke. I felt angry, frustrated and I know I was miserable to be around.
I have no intention of smoking! I KNOW this will pass. I've been fairly lucky to date, no major craves until now.
Tonight is dart night, and being a smoke free event, I don't have to worry about watching others smoke. They go out a break time and stink something fierce when they come back in.
No, I intend to go and have fun. I'm tired of being "crabbychops" today!
Just needed to vent,
Cheers, Jan

Go out and have a good time! I often wish I could bottle that stench of smoke that clings to people's hair and clothes---as a reminder. YUCK!
Aren't you glad you don't smoke?

Jan,
By all means, vent away! You are doing so well in this quit and we couldn't be prouder! Perhaps taping a picture of the nicodemon on the dart board would make you feel better?
Keep persevering!
Danielle
