Hi friends,
Something I noticed as I was loading up on sugar free candy in preparation for my quit- lots of them have around 10 calories per piece. So if you're having several each day this could load on several calories (and later pounds)! I quit long ago for three years, gained 20 lbs. and started smoking again and lost it all. What I know this time around is I can lose weight at some point down the road by reducing my food intake and increasing my physical activity- before I just took the easy way out and started smoking again. Let's all be kind to ourselves and realize we may pack on a few extra pounds in the beginning but we can lose it without returning to nicotine.
p.s. please remind me of this post next month when I am moaning about my weight gain
Have a great smoke free day!!

Hi Dupe
I didn't even go sugar free for the first 3 months (No wonder that I gained weight) Anyway...I found some candies that are 1 calorie for 5 candies (so I can eat lots and they don't taste bad either!) Hope you can find some wherever you are......
